Lough Rowan Hidden away between the rolling hills of picturesque South Leitrim lies one of the North West's newest and most exciting multi faceted angling venues of recent times. This pristine, 100 acre spring fed lake, which is under the management of Rinn-Shannon and District Angling Club, is home to beautiful brown trout well into double figures with its current record standing at 14lb with a fish caught in 2009.

Attracting anglers of all ages, Lough Rowan has an additional impressive stock of hard fighting triploid rainbow trout reaching weights of up to 4lb promising some rod bending action for all visitor's to this unique fishery. Most angling methods are catered for at the fishery which has excellent access facilites and ample shore-line for wading with boat-hire also available on request for members or visiting anglers. 1 year's membership (adult) - €60 1 year's membership (junior) -€10 Day ticket - €15 per day Download 2013 application form here

An intractive map with directions to the fishery is available on the home page. Rinn Shannon and District Angling Club enforce a strict 3 fish bag limit per day at the fishery for all species of trout and ask all patrons to practice catch and release where possible. This fishery is operated on a non-profit basis with revenue generated used for restocking purposes , youth angling initiatives and meeting any administrative costs incurred therein.
